I bought 2 cardigans last year - a soft white one which was fine and a navy one which didn’t wear well at old - bobbled very quickly and now unsuitable to wear.
I feel for the money it was very disappointing.
This year I have bought a tea rose one and a hydrangea blue - both been on once and so far no complaints.
My daughter bought a black one last year and she had the same experience as I had with the navy one

In regard to pilling, we do expect some pilling initially with natural fibres, however, this should be a temporary process. All wool has short and long fibres, the shorter fibers will naturally work their way to the surface and once these have gone you are left with long fibres that will not pill. The pills can easily be removed with a pilling comb and the pilling should settle after the first few wears and wash.
